An ordinary day for me

Today is Autism Awareness Day. Unfortunately, for some of us, Autism awareness is just part of everyday life.

May it never be part of yours.

  1. That is hard.
a regular, “standard-issue” kid demands so much attention and effort – to tend to an autistic one requires discipline and a strong will.

I wouldn’t be able to cope, I think.

  2. That came out rather crude. Sorry, I didn’t mean to. I really admire parents who persevere in the face of this challenge.

    • Don’t worry about it, I understood what you meant. The worst part of it is that while one can get used to most unfortunate circumstances in life, this is not one of them. The best part is that you learn to find happiness in the smallest, cutest things that you would never even notice with “standard-issue” kid.

      • Is everything all right? Did you take a break or something happened?Nothing serious, I hope

        T
